I can't help myself. I love building.

For the past 20 plus years I have been making digital products. Along the way I have learned what to do and more importantly, what not to do. Merwin Labs is where these experiments exist.

Builder

I love building products that solve probems. They usually start with something that I am trying to solve and find an audience with others who share the same problem.

Writing

I write too. I'm sharing what I'm learning and thinking over on Medium. If you like thinking about how to build products, checkout Make. If you want to learn what I'm learning about AI, read Creative Continuum. Every once in a while, I write stories too.

Experiments

I use Django, HTMX, AlpineJS, and Tailwind to build products. By sticking to these tools, I can go fast and build ideas quickly. For me, it's magical to go from idea to prototype in just an afternoon. And using AI as a coding partner makes everything even more fun!
